Ely Player of guitar (and a pretty godly one at that - (godly guitar that is, not godly player)-) She was the founder of the band and likes to maintain her control over us ruffians. Often seen on stage sporting a bandana. She is going out with Stuart Stott coz he has magic hands - dont you just love Stottikins. Also, she is best friends with Jackie coz Jackie is by far the coolest. In her spare time she enjoys wearing/ buying exceptionally expensive trousers of the denim variety. Also likes playin the "violin" (viola). Has been playin the guitar since May 2000. She also owns a pretty hefty amp. Likes to dabble in "magic". that is all. Franio Player of drums, (along with every other instrument you could think of; violin; piano; baratone saxophone; clarinet; flute; recorder; viola; accordion; bass; - to name only some) His genious in the feild of music more than makes up for the lack of knowledge possessed by other members. He can often b found at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama on a Saturday or fiddling (hehe) at kay-lees on a friday evening. Other hobbies include explosives and as a result, he blew up one of his drums recently (no-matter, its a shite kit). He also likes automobiles of any size. that is all. TO THE RIGHT IS OUR FRIEND TAKING THE BOAB >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Heather Sings. that is all Nah, heather is the newest member of the band and also plays bass in "No Breaks". Besides singing and bass , Heather can also play recorder, saxophone and clarinet. In her spare time she tends to crop up in Shakespear plays, she was Banquo in MacBeth, a Fairy (important one) in A Midsummer Nights Dream and Banquo's gohst in MacBeth. There you go, multi-talented. Goin out with Dominic. That is all.

A "Brief" History
Ok, so, here is a we story bout the band from the very begining; Founded by Matt C in April 2000, original members, Matt- lead, Ely- Rhythm, Heather-Vocals, CAMPbell-bass, Pauline- Drums (yes, miss young did drum)---> shortly b4 auditioning for talent show with "Breakfast at Tiffanies" pauline left, we then had graeme D drummin. After failin to get into talent show, there was a switch in roles again, Heather played bass, Campbell left, Pauline sang, Matt played Rhythm and Ely was on lead, this set up remained until just b4 the November stamperland gig. Pauline left and joanna stepped in to sing at our first gig, we supported WTB, Chase and "the mearns castle boys" by opening stamperland hall with Sweet Child O' Mine (soon to become Ely's trademark). At this gig, sinc was geust singer for Breakfast at Tiffanies.------> a good bit after that, a huge rearangement occurred, Graeme D was to leave, Iain (Jeeves) McHardy became new drummer, Ely and Jo left to form new band with "orchestra" folk whilst the remaining folk formed "No Breaks". Ely's band now consisted of Ely- lead, jo- vocals, franio- drums and an undecided bassist soon to become mr Richard Carey. This has been the basic format since the beginning of 2001,(in the midst of all this, Ely, Heather, Pauline and Graeme D reformed as "inevitable something for one night to win the williamwood "stars in their Eyes" comic relief show playing...yes.... Guns'n'Roses Sweet Child O' Mine) In the real band, the singer has changed every gig however with pauline young reappearin, and now heather singing again. and, one gig, we ad the godly drummin of Andy McMillan keepin the beat. We are now practicin for another stamperland gig. Studio's
Whenever we go to a studio we go to "Berkly 2", its in town and is a really nice place, can be pretty expensive at weekends but we would still advise it. It has dead good amps/ drums, and, to make it even better, the lights all have dimmer switches AND, their vending machine still sells sweets like "Caramacs" and "Crunch" bars! If you are lookin for a studio then look no further.
Also, if you fancy venturing into the Barra's then go to Barrowland recording studio, it's pretty good and if The Gallowgate doesn't frigtend you sinc they stopped hanging peopel there, then, it's a great place to go if u dont mind walkin through indoor puddles or giant winches.
